UNIT-G ( ELECTRIC AND MAGNETISM)
First week of January, students will be learning electric,charges, static-current electric and circuts. In the second week of January, we will be focusing on magnetism. HAPPY CHRISTMAS
2ND WEEK OF DECEMBERStudents will be learning Unit F ( waves ) this week. Types of waves, properties of waves and interactions of wave are the topics that will be covered. Unit F test is on Friday.
FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBERUNIT- E test will be given this week on Friday. Tests covers following topics;
> thermal energy , heat and temperature > Energy transfer > kinetic and potential energy > work and power > simple machine
last week of november
We started to learn Unit- E ( energy transformation and conversion ) this week. In this unit, Students will be learning thermal energy, heat , temperature, and methods of energy transfer ( conduction, convection and radiation)
3RD WEEK OF NOVEMBER
Student will learn about Newton's laws of motion. On Thursday, there will be a bridge building contest.
Unit- D test will be given on Friday ( 11-18-2016 )
2ND WEEK OF NOVEMBERPaper plane contest was fun. 5 students increased their grade one letter up.
1ST WEEK OF NOVEMBER
Students are learning different types of forces that effect motion of an object. Relation between force and motion is covered this week.
Students will be investigating an accident scenario to write a report. In this activity, students will have a solid understanding of momentum, conservation of momentum, deceleration and friction.
4TH WEEK OF OCTOBER Students will start to new unit with motion. Speed displacement and acceleration are the topics that we will cover this week.. Students will take benchmark test this Friday (10-28-2016). Study guide is available above. GRAPH MASTERPIECES
3RD WEEK OF OCTOBER
We finalized the nuclear chemistry this week and took the UNIT-C test. Students had a chance to talk about nuclear fusion and fission. They found out the energy source of the Sun. |
